About the Role
9+ years of procurement experience in Renewable Energy, Power, or Infrastructure sectors.
Delhi/Ncr India (Corporate Office + Project Site Travel).
• Strong expertise in solar PV DC system design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and PVsyst.
• Knowledge of earthing, lightning protection, and safety systems.
• Deep understanding of DC losses and optimization techniques.
Requirements
Sr. Manager/Manager- DC Design
Job Objective:Lead solar PV DC engineering, including module layout, string design, DC cabling, and system optimization to maximize energy yield, safety, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop optimized plant layouts and DC system designs.
Perform string sizing, cable sizing, voltage drop, and loss calculations.
Conduct shading analysis, tilt/orientation optimization, and land-use planning.
Define DC design standards, specifications, and best practices.
Review and approve layouts, SLDs, and cable routing drawings.
Evaluate PV modules, DC cables, connectors, and combiner boxes.
Lead and mentor engineers and draftsmen while ensuring seamless AC/DC integration.
